The most surprising aspect when getting to Domaine d’Escapa is the large panorama offered on authentic and quiet Gers. The landscape goes from the Pyrenees to “bocages”, those small irregular-shaped fields separated by hedges and ditches, and your gaze will just stop above the majestic horses and our breeding facilities.
Easy to find when following the directions from Mirande. Not that easy if you use a GPS that will make you navigate from Gers’ farms and country pathes… Let’s say Estipouy must be earned!
Whether you’re coming from Toulouse, Bordeaux, Agen, Pau, Tarbes… or much farther, we will end up meeting with each other at the reception desk. Quite often, your very first host will be Cheyenne, our domestic pony, who is free to go wherever she wants.
On this 40-hectare property of fields and woods, come breathe the fresh air, simplicity and wildlife. Your stay will be cadenced by the contemplation of the place, the silence, the beautiful body of water, the birds and animals inhabiting our lovely planet.
